Default C2 frame repair

Have a 64 fuelie with rust at the rear frame crossmember @ the gussetts. Can the seat buckets be removed to access the frame for welding or do I have to pull the body off? Need help, Bob.

Pictures would help of the rusted area, but I'm pretty certain to do a repair to the crossmember at the frame rail and the gussetts, raising or removing the body is a must. Not sure what you mean by seat buckets. If you're speaking of the seats in the car, 4 bolts and they're out. Think your concern is with the fiberglas floor.

Bob,

Believe you find out there's other issues to address other than rusty kickups. Any and all suspension/frame issues are best addressed with body off.
