Default 65 instrument light bulbs

From what I have researched on the Forum I plan to use the following light bulbs in my 65 w/o air cluster:

(9) #1817 for all the cluster instrument lights except,
(2) #1816 for turn indicators
(2) #257 for headlight and brake blinking indicator
(3) #1445 for Hi-beam indicator, ignition and lighter lights

Then in the console:

(1) #1817 radio
(1) #1893 heater controls
(2) #1816 clock

The reason I am using #1816s in the clock is that I only bought 10 #1817s from Atlantic.

Thanks for your comment.

The only difference in your list and what I used when I did my cluster is that I used 1816's everywhere you show 1816's and also where you show 1817's.

I guess what he's showing us is his plan to replace/upgrade his bulbs, hence the 1816->1817 discrepancy.

Right, I'm using 1817s for a brighter cluster per suggestions from the Forum.

Thanks to all for your input.

Find some good quality AMERICAN made #257 bulbs. The cheap imports don't flash correctly. I tried several different ones and none flashed like the original GE bulbs. Some flashed slow, fast, didn't flash or didn't flash until they had been on for 1 or more mins. Total trash and that's where they all went.
