Thanks Jeff, I was hoping that you would post pics, looks like a few of the cars need to contact Tom DeWitt.

We got there at 8 am, and had to park in the back 40. I talked to one guy who said parts of the lot fill up by 6 am. 6 am!!!!!

The worst part about C&C is getting up so dang early on a Saturday.

The best part is the collection of awesome cars.

The second best part - the nap I take on my couch around noon that same day!

That's why it says "Dog (1)". Certainly not 2 in that photo!

One of the rescue organizations was there with a selection of rescue dogs for adoption. This was one of them. He was waiting patiently for his treat.

Perhaps, but also an awesome cost of living, and housing is dirt cheap compared to much of the country.

A gathering like that is a great venue for a rescued pet adoption event; we're long-time supporters of the "Best Friends" sanctuary in Utah.

Both dogs in my avatar came from Dachshund Rescue in Houston.

That black with silver stripe cobra is sweet, and has shelby's signature too, pretty cool, indeed, thanks for the picks.

Over the last 15 yrs I have adopted two full blooded Black Labs from the ASPCA in Houston. Both perfect hounds!

Best $69 I ever spent.

I am lucky:
1.This is a great car gathering on NW side of Houston with a wide variety of cars. 35 Fords, Lambro's, Ferrari, Muscles, Corvettes, Porche, Restos, trucks..must be 600 cars.
2.Get to see great guys like Jeff and chat a few minutes. Thanks for posting, I am too disorganized (lazy)
3.I live only 1000 yards from the event.
4.Couple of my finanic friends go early at 6:30 and save spaces for our Corvette group (I took the Avanti this time, I tell them it is C-1 with back seat).
5.One of my buddies took his 35 Ford and displayed with a Thompson Machine gun stuck upright between the seats...its a Texas thing.

Anyone in the area should come and see; even though early morning, many places to have a nice breakfast. Find the Corvette cluster and you will be immediately made part of the family.

Joe
