Default 1967 Corvette Air

Found this rare item for sale on Ebay and thought forum members might want to get a jump on it.

I used to run the foam Air Cleaner filter on ebay years ago.. and since they were in a sealed plastic bag with oil... I'd run them as NOS Air Cleaner complete with NOS Air...

I just e-mailed a friend of mine that item.

He's never put the spare in his October 66 build (VIN 016xx) 67 400hp coupe, because he wasn't able to find enough OEM air for all 5 tires.

Now he can finish his restoration!

I'm interested. How many bags do you tire experts think I need to fill my spare, around 5300?

You have to admit that there was a distinctive smell to the air around St. Louis in '67.

Are you sure it was not some Ohio gas drifting south from a good brotts meal at frank's?

I could have filled a spare tire with the excess gas

.............and thats what Frank said the next day after you left

My regret that evening was leaving too soon. I understand you and Frank tipped more than a few and had a great time. The posts that night that you guys did were really funny.

If that air doesn't have fiberglass dust in it, it's bogus!

Watch out. Judging from his feedback, that may not be original old air in the baggie. He could be trying to pull a fast one.
