Anyone have a passenger side mirror on their C2
I hadn't thought about adding one until I saw a '67 BB Coupe on Thursday with dual mirrors. It was a track car but it looked good.

Looks great
If you are going to put top up , you need it to see on right side
I would try to put a concave , convex ? mirror in fixture before mounting. Just take to a auto glass place and see if they can do it for you. The regular mirror does not work as well as a modern wide angle one found on newer cars
It does help

I like the idea and it gives the car a more symmetrical look.
I couldn't get this done for my current car but they way I have it set the drivers side and rear view take care of what's behind.
I set the passenger to pick up the blind spot between the other two mirrors, all I need to see is a front bumper or front wheel of the car in the passenger lane as soon as it hits just behind my rear passenger quarter. In my car I know if I see no part of another car in the mirror or through my side window I can shift lanes.
Never rely on just a mirror, you have to still spin your head around often to get perspective views before changing lanes.

Personally I think it balances the car.
It's also fairly necessary down here. Driving a left hook car on the left side of the road esp on motorway, you need to know what is going on down the rh side when changing lanes
As Jack says you will have to shift the mirror aft on RH side so vent frame does not interfere with your line of sight

My right hand mirror is mounted in the same location measurement wise as the left hand one. I can see out of both and neither blocks the vent window being opened and view out the right hand mirror is not blocked by vent window frame. If it were, so would the left one as both mirror faces would be forward of vent window frame...
Even with the rear quarters being widen, they do not block either mirror's view.

I used the exact same mirror as the drivers side one in exactly the same opposite spot. I just had to move my head a touch to see perfectly on that side. I liked it in the same spot for balance. Rather move my head!

I would love to have one (really need one with the top up) but I'm going to have to get over the "scare" of drilling two holes in the door.
