Default [Pic] Flasher relay / Blinker relay, are they one in the same????

I have a 1966 vert with the 4-way flasher option. I thought that the blinker flasher relay and the 4-way flasher relay were two separate relays. Am I wrong? I found the blinker flasher relay under the dash next to the radio console (see below pic), but if there are two separate relays then where is the relay for the 4-way flasher located?

I plan to replace my relays with electronic ones so I can go with LED lights all around the car.

Here is the blinker relay, I think. Could this relay control both the blinkers AND the 4-way flashers? Inquiring minds want to know.

(The gold thingy is the relay and the big red button controls the 4-way flashers)

the one on the radio side panel is for your turn singles. there is anther one on the back of the 4-way flasher switch. so you should have two

Beware - electronic flashers have 'polarity'...they have to be plugged in a certain way to work....some versions share a plug configuration but have different polarities.

Those aren't "relays" - they're "flashers". The one on the radio side panel is for the turn signals, and the one for the hazard flashers is plugged into the forward end of the big hazard flasher unit with the red **** on it; the original hazard flasher was a rectangular Signal-Stat #170. Neither one will work with LED lights.

Excellent, THAT'S what I wanted to know! I didn't know where the 4-way flasher was! Now I can replace those buggers with electronic ones for a LED upgrade!
