Hi ,has anyone replaced old stock seats in a C2 ,64 vette (driver) with aftermarkets.
Been looking at Procar-90's with adjustable head rest or other forward folding seats. Can make own brakets etc. Just wondering if any one has done this and found good fitting seats.

I know that a lot of guys have used C3, C4 and even C5 seats. Fiero seats also work. Here is an article in CV on C5 seat installation in a C2

A lot of them do. If you do a search, you will find several with pictures. I think a lot of people do go with the C4 as they are smaller than C5

I used Acura seats. Fit great, light too.

I put Recaro seats in my Coupe. Found a commercial bracket for the driver's side, and made my own bracket for the passenger's side. They fit great, are much more comfortable, and really hold you in place.

Back in the early 80's I put recaros form the VW rabbit still have them in and love-em. Got my brackets from Long Beach Motoring Accessories---Long Gone.

I put C5 seats in my 63. Followed Rich's directions from his Split Personality build. Cut down the top of the seats a little like 1CoolC2 (Jeff) and they look great.

Here are some C6 seats. Headrests were lowered about 4".

Black leather (perforated pleats) in 64' motif.
