Barely made this corner, but I DID make it!
A fellow competitor just sent me these shots of myself overcooking it in an autocross last fall. The apex of the right turn is the green cone on the left of the first picture, and I obviously didn’t get too close to it, since my right foot took over my brain ….. again!

You may have overshot the corner but you were still having fun!

Your suspension must be well set up, very little body lean from the g-forces. I remember seeing side-exhaust C2s blow cones every which way when the drivers got on it, hysterical.

The suspension is basically stock. I upgraded to Bilstein Heavy Duty shocks to reduce roll, but soon will upgrade again to QA1 adjustable shocks so I can set them on Hard for race day. I hope this will mean "no roll at all" and therefore better cornering speeds. Springs are stock Chevy F41. I replaced the stock power steering with a Jeep box from Corvette Steering, to reduce lock-to-lock steering from 3.5(?) to 2.25 turns, which is the #1 mod any C2 or C3 owner should consider. Front 3/4-inch sway bar, no rear bar. Wheels are 17 X 7 X 4.75 backspace shod with 245/45 Kumho V710 DOT-legal race slicks, which I drive to and from the tracks. The Kumhos are a little spooky under certain road conditions, and I hope I never hit a puddle with them; I may switch to a lower class that uses harder tires with actual tread on them this season, so I feel safer on the road going to and from the tracks. I’ll go slower on track but might live longer! I've been autoxing for eight seasons and highly recommend it as an adrenaline high!
