Great stuff. Our Autorama just got over yesterday. I am simply amazed at the quality of cars and the total amount of cash that people spend.

Yeah..This was a 3 day show and we went for just 1 day, "saturday only".

Opened and closed the show...lots of walking and lots of setting.

It was fun and BIG....drove 2.5 hours to the show and 2.5 hours to get home...LONG DAY

We walked for about 6 hours from building to building...my dogs are still aching...

Didn't go this year. Last year, it seemed much, much smaller than, say 5 years earlier. Lots of empty space in what used to be the main building.

If you went last year also, how would you compare last year's show to this year's?

Didn't go last year...never heard of the show until i was invited by some friends to this years...
It was fun to see the amount of time and thought some spent on putting their cars together..

The red C1 with no top (soft or hard), if displayed as shown in the photo took a major deduction on the interior. The top headliner is considered part of the interior and if not displayed there are points deducted from the interior, enough to keep the car out of first place.....don't ask me how I know, but when I take my car to those kind of shows or Super Chevy the soft top is up or the hardtop is on.....my very first Autorama it wasn't up nor on, ugh!

"If you went last year also, how would you compare last year's show to this year's?"

According to my mechanic who is restomodding my C2 and has shown his own customs there for the past 4 years, this year was much better than last year...more cars and people.

Thanks for the comparison. Last year's show was really disappointing. The memory of it was one reason I didn't work up the enthusiasm for going this year. Looks like I missed out!
