Thanks Steampunk,

The scooter is a Piaggio (Vespa) MP3 250, it has two wheels in the front and one wheel in the rear. We took the original body off, modified the chassis a little and replaced it with the aluminum body which only weighs only 48 lbs., when you turn, it rolls like my airplane, I love it, in fact, I have a hard time not driving from one side of the road to the other, just because I like to weave in it. I'll try and load up some more pictures if anyone is interested, it's not a Corvette. I only posted it to explain some of my distractions and because I love it.

Sorry for not posting on this project, I've kind of put it on the side while I've been working on some other projects. I'm doing nine corvettes, (two '57s, this '59, two '62s, a '63, two '67s and a '60 on hold) all mine with no intentions of selling any of them. Two are stock, number matching fuelies ('57 and '62), four are number matching originals ('62, '63, '67 & '60) and three ('57, '59 & '67) are restro mods. I have most of the chassis' done and all but two of the bodies done (work wise) - I still need to paint most of them.

I got sick of all the talk about Hedges (not saying it was wrong or right) but I ended up basically redoing the two chassis' I got.

In in the meantime I started working on all the rest of the cars. My resto chassis' are in my eyes amazing now but doing so many cars at once, I've got an order set up and the '59 is still a couple of cars back.

Always a pleasure to see one of your projects take place and admire the workmanship.

You said you installed wider rear quarters.
Where did you get them?
How much clearance did you gain ?

Thanks 65silververt, I need to get back on this '59 but right now I'm knee deep in one of the '57s, wrapping up the '63, and both of the '67s are staring at me. Slow but sure they're all coming.

Thanks for posting the pics. I'm at the installation stage on my 61. I've got them off and am ready to make bonding strips at this point. Mine are GTS as well. I couldn't find anybody else making them. And as it turns out I'm glad, they are very nice pieces and fit great.
