54 Brake Master Leaking

I have an original master cylinder. Its been rebuild and working fine. It has always leaked a little from the cap. Ive put on an additional gasket and it helps for some time. Now its leaking again. Thoughts

I filled it about an inch from the bottom of the cap threads. Too full?

Greg does your cap have the cone on the bottom? I had a cap that did not have the cone on the bottom and it leaked. Put one on and the leak went away.

If I'm thinking right dosent the original cap have a pin hole vent so air can get out
