Re: Winshield wiper fuse? (396 RAT)
Should be one in the fuse panel. Look for one with a brown wire that goes to the motor and "meets up" with a yellow, light blue and dark blue (18's). Just my best guess. Good luck.

Auto Elect. is not my strong point..........
The wire bundle is taped up, cant see the colors.
It must be shared with one of the 6 fuse's
if its in the fuse panel and not an inline.
Any idea which one? And whats (18's?) wire Guage?
Am missing the radio fuse, but its only a 2 1/2 amp fuse
and would think the wiper motor would be bigger.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks, replaced all 6 fuse's, wipers still don't work.
Not sure if its fed through the fuse panel?.
Will save it for another day. Still have a million
little things to do on this car. Now, a million and one. ;)

Just remember that power is supplied to the motor from the fuse panel and the switch grounds the fields. so I could be a bad ground at the switch.

Check your fuses with a test light. If all are OK, then check to see if you have power at the wiper motor. If there is no voltage at the motor terminal, then suspect the switch. Of course, we can't rule out a wiring problem, but that is the least likely cause. good luck.

My wiper problem turned out to be an odd wiring problem - a test gauge and some patience (which I don't have much of) solved that one!! :D

I would much rather rebuild a Holley,
or do a brake caliper rebuild than track down
an elect. problem................................. .......
And I have more than one to baffle me!
But with all the helpful posts, It will be much easier.
Sounds like everyone here has had to do this!
Now, to find the patience!
