I know I'll find out here soon, when I mock it up. I just know someone will already have done this. My marks on my valve stems were outboard of center. Youtube had a guy saying that meant too long? Logic tells me too short.... If it's too long lash caps would correct it or at least steer me in the correct direction?

Hey Gordon, I'm going back with stock 5/16 X 7.80 length. The guy who did my block said that there was not to big a difference for a 327 with my cam !
Comp cams 7372-16 on mine.
