OT - Keels and Wheels, Seabrook 5-5-2012
Greetings,
Today I attended the 17th annual Keels and Wheels Boat and Car show in Seabrook Texas. http://www.keels-wheels.com/
Consisting of a Concours D' Elegance for high end cars and boats, plus an auction, this show is one I consider to be the "Pebble Beach of the South".
After driving all the way across Houston from Cars and Coffee, we bagan taking photos around 11 am. Sadly again, I failed to cross paths with Rayvaflav, I hope he enjoyed the show..
A full slideshow of about 110 photos is here

A sampling follows:
Early cars:
Hupmobile
Brush
Sears Robuck
"My Classic Car" host Dennis Gauge talking to a representative from the Peterson Automotive Museum about this beautiful Delahaye
THE original "little deuce coupe" from the Beach Boys' album cover
Steve Newsom's 55
This car has a checkered past
Boss 429
Factory "Swiss Cheese" Pontiac drag car
Boats, Cars (Keels/Wheels)
Jeff

I'm glad everyone is enjoying the pictures. It's a wonderful show.
I feel bad I couldn't get in touch with Rayvaflav while I was there, but I heard from another forum member that he and his buddy enjoyed the show.
Paul that would be great. In fact, maybe next year I'll try to actually organize some sort of forum get together, and a group visit to the event.
