Read it here: Lost and Found: The Story Nick's 1969 Sting Ray

Owning an older car can be a roller coaster ride, but trying to find the perfect one in the first place is even more stressful. But the stories that come from the hunt are part of what makes it worthwhile. Nick's 1969 Sting Ray convertible didn't come to him easily, but that's what makes it so special.

Hit the link above for the full story, or just jump to the gallery for pics of his lovely red '69.

Nice one! Reminds me how much I enjoyed my old Monza Red 69. It maybe a generational thing, but I tend to put 63-72 cars in my mind together, and am not likely to be a buyer for a C1. I guess on the CF it makes sense to have all C3's grouped from a body-technical standpoint, but I see more genetic kinship in a '67 and '68 than I do a '68 and (say) an '82.
