Nice Car.
Your challenge is going to be finding the right Buyer, who is looking for all the modifications that you have done

Nice looking car Mike. Personally, I probably wouldn't have painted the frame Gray but that's just me. You might want to list it in the forum for sale section also. Good luck with the sale. http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/cto/3174820131.html

Nice car. I think it's overpriced in this market by bout $10,000 unless you find someone who wants the car exactly as you've configured it.

For me - anytime a for-sale photo is posted of car with dirty carpeting, it makes me think. If the seller doesn't care to take the time to present their car for sale in the best light possible, how much care did they take in the maintenence of the car.

Mike with all due respect believe the range is more $40K to....maybe $45k with the right buyer. Too much personalization, unoriginal components including unoriginal engine to think the car could capture anything close to your asking price. Market conditions has a large affect as well as for $60k one can find an all original '63 with no mods.....many times NCRS validated.

I don't know what "NCRS validated" is ?????
But, if you know of a '63 Coupe with a recent Top Flight Award for 60k, please let me know.
I am ready to buy one............Right Now.

Re-read boys.....never stated Top Flight. Many validations can be made through the judging process. I've observed numerous 2nd Flight cars that were great.

Now.....back to Mike's '63, you'd pay $60K..mmmm?

I think the car looks great
Did you change the front to rear brake line while frame off?

It looks nice. Not to rattle your cage but I would suggest with the frame being clean. Get some POR semi gloss black paint then paint the frame and half shafts. It would be more attractive. The SWC is hard to come by and by doing a few things you might get close to your asking price maybe 50K. O and get rid of the steering wheel wrap

I would suggest that your ad needs to be completely rewritten. Your ad is one single run-on sentence that is too hard to read and doesn't even really give the minimum information to pique someone's interest.

I sell a lot of parts and I have found that a complete description promotes sales vs an incomplete description deters sales.

For me personally, I looked at the ad and would not pursue the car at all because I feel that for $50K or $60K the least the seller could do would be to provide a thorough description of the car. It's just a mental turn-off to me anyway.

Just FWIW.

I agree with Jeff. For strong $$$, the car needs to stand tall. GLWS.

Kudos for standing tall and taking the (constructive) criticism.

As someone in the market for a car, I can tell you I am looking to find something as close to stock as possible. While there is a ton of love for mods on this forum, saying someone elses' mod looks good in a thread is a whole lot different than plunking down ca$h for said modded car.

Best of luck with your sale!

Its all in the presentation Maybe some pics out of the garage with a uncluttered backround. I would get the fire extinguisher out of the pic too.

Good Luck

I won't comment on the price since I really don't know what I am talking about when it comes to that.
I like the car very much although the frame does look strange in any color other than black.
I have the same headers on my 64 and they completely rock.
GLWS!
