65 Camel hump heads - need additive?
I'm running 65 Camel hump heads. I have heard that the seats are soft. Do I need to upgrade the seats or do I need an additive? I plan do do alot of miles not just week ends.

I have no idea what you heard, but the bottom line is you don't need to do anything at all. Those heads are fine as is.

I had mine redone for unleaded fuel with the hardened seats, etc. at the same time I had the valves enlarged, heads pocket-ported, port-matched, etc.
But that was for use with the California fuel over 25 years ago when the work was done. I don't know if it's necessary with today's fuel.
