Melting Slicks
The first section is the width in millimeters, the second is the height of the sidewall from wheel to tread (as a percentage of the width), then obviously the wheel size.
205/75/R15 is 205mm wide, 153.75mm tall to the edge of the wheel.
215/70/R15 is 215mm wide, 150.5mm tall to the edge of the wheel.
A 10mm difference is like .4" or so. So less than half an inch difference in width, and only 6mm difference in total tire height.
