Inspection Service
I want to order a professional inspection service to inspect a car out west and wanted your opinions. I always respect the opinions on this forum.

Contact the NCRS Regional Chapter in the area where the car is located. They will have someone well versed in the era car you are considering that can do an inspection for you. Don't use a generic "appraiser" that does all makes. You will get a report that includes things like "2 door, V8, no dents" etc. Even if you aren't an NCRS member, you will get the help you need. They are very active out there on the left coast. If you are looking at a mid year in So Cal, I have a friend that can help you.

Where out west? If in Oregon, I have a good contact who has been selling and dealing in corvettes for 40+ years. He inspected mine and remembered selling it in 1973 to the guy I bought it from!
