correct '63 ignition switch ??
I recently purchased a '63 ignition switch. It works fine but there was no provision for the fastening tabs to hold the connector on.
Is a "correct" one available ????
Thanks, Larry.

Safety Car
Only used originals or NOS. It has the ridge around the perimeter for the lock tabs.(3rd pic below) It also has the correct integral mount for the indicator lamp.
I bought a used original years ago. It came with the tumbler but no key. I was able to "pick" the lock to get the tumbler out and re-pinned the tumbler to match my door-lock key.
Just found this on ebay......no affiliation. Just a FYI. But expensive!

Rich, thanks for the info and pics. That is what I was looking for. Just have to decide if I want it bad enough for the $150.
That also explains why I have that extra bulb under the dash in that area.
I believe the one I removed had the ridge for the locking tabs but no mounting for the bulb. I have owned the car for 46 years and believe I replaced it once before in a previous life...
