Default clutch

I have a 93 corvette and lately my clutch got so low i can still shift the gear but it's not as easy as before so i thought i might need a clutch fluid but when i look at the hood i don't see no clutch fluid reservoir so i went to autozone and check the repair manual it says about a clutch master cyninder slave but at the end in the picture it has a reservoir so please somebody tell me what's wrong with it why mu clutch got too low and the gear kinda hard to shift. I don't want to go to the shop without any idea because mechanics when you don't know anything they'll charge arm and a leg and tell you all different things to make money, thanks.

Rainan, I'm sure some on this C-1/C-2 forum may be able to help. If you post on the C-3 forum you may get some very detailed responses. Dennis

Ooops! ment C-4 Thanks John for catching it.

If you'll post this in the C4 Forum, you'll get lots of help on your issue - this is the C1/C2 Forum - no hydraulic clutch systems on these cars.

As long as you are already here, I will point you in the right direction. Your clutch slave cylinder feeds off of the Brake M/C reservoir (there is no separate reservoir) . You likely have air in the system probably from a failed slave cylinder. Pilot Dan
