Default Mine was the newest car in the show

I entered my '66 in a local car show and it was the youngest car there! The show accepted cars 1984 and older. There were cars there I never saw in real life before- ranging from 1903 to MOSTLY early 50s. It was the coolest car show I encountered. Just commenting.

it would be nice to see pic's. This is kind of like a young lady wearing a see thru dress and top and telling you she has to go home. What a tease

Hope you enjoy these like I enjoyed the show.

I couldn't get over how black the car next to mine was.
It was like a mirror.
Note the reflection of my car

Nice!! thanks for sharing. That black car next to yours made a very cool pic. that boy spent a lot of time on that paint.
What's the deal with the wheel chocks. are there a lot of problems with spontaneous vehicle combustion in Fla these days?

Having a fire extinguisher was a requirement for entry.

I'm often at or near Daytona Beach and would like to put it on my calendar...

AACA and other organizations require each car to have a fire extinguisher. They asked that it be displayed in a specific location so judges don't have to search for it. Usually by one of tires.

Wow I'm jealous, cold and snow flurries here this weekend, I already miss FL and it's only been a week.
Your car looks great, and the refection in the Packard is very cool, he mast have spent some bucks on that paint.

Frank- It was Sat 24th and it is the first time I attended but I do know it takes place every year and from what I was told has been held each year for the past 40 or so years- without missing a year. The night before the show the cub sponsors a parade and the evening of the show the same. Carl

ASnake- It was in fact an AACA event. Beautiful park, organizers are laid back, and the event was organized at the same time.
