Default tri power power valve

If I have blown power valve in my tri power, would it make carb leak into motor? If so how can I tell if it is blown when I take it out of carb thanks

No. If you have it in your hand, suck on the flat side (the hex end), and you should see the plunger on the other end move inward, closing the valve; if it doesn't move, the diaphragm has failed.

Default

even a slightly loose pv will leak into intake due to high vacuum.
my 61 AFR was rich one day, tightened pv, back to normal.
blown will really flood it.
when u remove the metering block, look into the carb center cavity, it will be wet with gas!
