Default Two more drag strip warriors at Dover Dragstrip

I took these photos during summer of '65 or '66. Anyone remember them?

Looks like Overtaker was using a standard dual quad set up while his competition was using an old Enderle Port Injection induction system. The Pittman car shown in the top photo is very characteristic as to what you saw at the strip in the 60s. The gassers and altered were some of the most interesting cars out there.

The Pittman car was a '33 ****** and ran AA/GS and was raced by K.S. "Tiger" Pittman. That car was destroyed in an accident in '71. It ran an earlier generation Hemi with a GMC 671 blower.
