Found these two pics I had transferred from slides to my computer in relation to my story about my C2.
Can you guess the era/year based on my movie related toy and TV show related shirt?
And, there is the picture of the neighbor's silver C2 Corvette, the style my dad really wanted but by the time he could buy one in 1972, they didn't have a warranty so he went with the new style.

A chrome bumper C3 is the next best thing other than maybe a '62. And by 1970, '67 big block drivers with nice paint were going for $1500, even on used car lots, who knew? I remember walking away from running '63s and '64s, hubcaps and all as parts cars at $1000. It was a hefty chunk of change then.
