Default Pardon me, sounds like an investor question!

Basically most enthusiast have favorite colors!

Basically based on the perception of the question, just buy "resale" red! The more unique or to taste colors require that someone gets an emotionally reaction to cause the buy.

And as I posted in another thread, there were colors/combos that when I first started looking, I wouldn't even have considered.

Now, I find myself really drawn to them, and that was just 6 months of looking.

Its been over 4 decades since the last c2 rolled off the line, so color opinions/fashions have bound to have changed.

For me I've never got past the 63 Silver Blue and Blue interior. I guess my second fav would be the 65 blue with blue interior.

One thing for certain, if I see a vintage Vette on the road I look and admire no matter the color

I am always drawn to the unusual though.

Black Exterior/Red interior is simply stunning, but not ordered that frequently "back in the day"

I would imagine that Goldwood Yellow wasn't that popular... and some still consider it a chick's color... but with Black/White interior... man that thing is Awesome!
Very neat color combo.....and somewhat rare I believe!

I vote Black w/ Red stinger but I am biased. I also love the White w/ Red stinger that really pops. Shemp

When I first started looking, I just assumed I'd end up with one of the blue colors or red. I liked those and that's what I saw most often. As I began to get more focused and serious with my search, my attention turned to the more unusual color combinations, the 1-year offerings, the colors produced in low numbers, etc. I began to focus on the black and white cars because those colors had the most variety of interior colors. I soon lost interest in the black cars because I didn't want to spend every day keeping it clean looking. So I focused on white cars. While white is an every-year common color, it has the most interior color options. I looked at a very pretty '65 white/maroon convertible, a 1-year offering. I ended up with a '67 white/teal/teal convertible, also a 1-year offering with only 611 produced with the teal top.

For me anyway, the colors and especially color combos that were least popular back in the day have evolved into the most popular as the years have passed.

Photos are nice but to see a Goldwood Yellow or Sunfire Yellow midyear with the White interior in real life is another thing. I looked at a '67 roadster with this colour combination and I was stunned, it is a gorgeous look.

I absolutely agree.

I am most attracted to the uncommon color combinations (assuming they match an original trim tag)

It seems like everyone and their brother has a red corvette with a black interior.

Your avatar reminded me that, in my opinion, a white Corvette with red interior is timeless. I don't know how rare it is but it's a beautiful combo and gives a nod to the early history of these cars.

Thank You.
I don't think White with Red is particularly rare, but I do agree it is timeless

Here's the car that got me started on my midyear hunt a few years back. I usually stay away from white cars but the lighter colors on the midyears seem to show every style line, and there are lots of them !

The C2 Stingray is such a timeless design, it shows off its lines in almost every color. My 65' ended up being the most popular for that year, Nassau Blue/Black, and people always ask: what is that color??
And my friends Elkhart Blue/Teal/Teal big block gets many impressions as well. Interesting to see the contrast side by side. Any way you slice it, they are beautiful cars

Elkhart Blue was the next to least produced color in 67(1096 units) . Only 812 black 67's were produced. Another interesting color combination is black, with teal interior, top and stinger. Very striking and very rare!

The Elkhart Blue looks similar to the 1963 Silver Blue
