It sold for 47k, needs a full restoration, and it has a questionable "original engine"! I think some people have more money than sense.

They have more $$$ then sense. Even it they do ALL the work there self they will still be upside down on the car and odds are that who ever bought it can not do ALL the work thereself.

you are assuming the winning bidder actually bought it. could easily be a chandelier bid against the one other person bidding.
