Call Ron Goralski (410)987-1948. He did one of my 62s. Great work and turnaround.

Dennis Portka in Hamburg NY 716-649-0921 did the ones on my '62 many years ago, don't know if he still does them.

Are Corvette horns special? I would think the units and their tone would be the same as provided on a '62 Impala.

Before you do anything check the voltage to your horn relay and confirm that the relay is good!

Read JohnZ's comments in post #4 and act accordingly:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c1-a...kits-work.html

Horns are numbered and there is a separate number for the HI and LO notes. Each note is mounted on a specific side of the car too (the AIM will provide the numbers and mounting info).

I know my horns have incorrect numbers so I won't post those.

For '61~'62 they are numbered 441 and 442. The 442 is the high note and is mounted on the pass side. They started dating them I believe around Jan '62, but I don't think the date is judged.

If the judge can find the date they will judge it. It depends on how excpercenced the judge is and how many cars they have to judge

I don't remember where the numbers are on my 60, but there is no way the numbers on a C-2 can be read with the horn installed. Regardless, mine are correct on both cars.

Mine is a late April build, you can see the numbers when they're installed OK, but I don't remember if you can see the dates, unfortunately my car's not here to check.
Mine are dated correctly, so for fun I pulled my MI regional judging sheets, no mention of the dates in the notes, so who knows if they checked them or not.
