Fifty One Years
Its been 51 years since I picked the Deuce up {#7512} while enjoying being a full time beach bum going to U of Miami....The dealership 'Dumas Milner Chevrolet' has long been gone...I suppose I could put 51 candles on it but I would probably set it on fire with that many......or I could salute it with a brimming glass as my candle burns at both ends, it may not last the night but ah my friends and ah my foes it sheds a tender light.....

From his post we see what we knew, but- - -
He is old
he is not paranoid about providing his number.
he is a bum.
He is educated.
He keeps good records.
but,
He quotes poetry?
wow!

Looks like the Dumas building is still standing! Maroone is now called Auto Nation. No telling how many it's been since '62.

I think it's incredible that you have kept it all these years! By the way, those 1962 dollars would be worth about $40,300 in today's dollars. Looks like you stole it.

It was Anthony Abraham Chevrolet in the 80's and at least the early
90's..... i bought a couple under powered vettes from them in the day.
Congrats on your forethought to buy such a nice car and then to keep
it for all these years!!!!!!

Congratulations!
On Feb 22, I will celebrate 52 years since my dad took our '61 home. Unfortunately he passed away in 2011, so it's a 1-family car, not a 1-owner.

I had to answer this, and you will see why... because Me, the 62, and the toughest Eastern Stewardess on the airline {Cathy Mele} drove up to Sebring for the 1962 race, how did you know....were you there?......
On another note the actual cash cost was $4400,00
If any interest I do have as New {in 1962} and Today pictures I could post....
And thanks Men
