Default Indy Time Trials 1970

I tried to get a car in this pic but they move to darn fast!
Can't get this close to the track anymore. This was taken after turn one near the track underpass.
The cars would suck the air out of you as they went by.

Looks like the Bristol fared a lot worse than the '57...

Here is one of me checking out some new Corvettes at a dealer near Victor, New York. Check out the Firestone 500 Steel Belted Radials. I believe this is 1976...which is, gulp, 41 years ago!

Found this picture in a box of family photos. Trying to track the relative down? Do not know who it could be.

Enjoy the scenery in pictures. Don't pick them apart. I appreciate them for a time long past.

As many of you know, my '61 was purchased new by my dad. I took the car when he passed away in 2011.

My uncle (dad's brother) dug out these photos in honor of what would have been his 75th birthday this week.

These are from the morning of his wedding in May 1964

My Uncle George (best man) with my dad.

I was told the story of how he stepped in dog poop on the way to his wedding... Finally photographic evidence!

Good to have those memories......................even better to still have the car. Hang on to it for as long as you can.

Thanks for sharing.
