63 Split Window Arrived Today!
What is better than owning two red Corvettes, owning THREE red Corvettes!
I have been thinking about buying this car for over a year but my 1960 build got in the way I finally decided I could not take it any more and I went ahead and bought it today. It helps that my wife gave me permission too
It is a nice numbers matching driver with a 327/250, 4 speed and power brakes. It is an original Riverside Red/Black Interior.
It needs a lot of detail work under the hood and underneath the car. I found out it has a leaking radiator so I pulled it for replacement tonight and I figured while I have it out I will go ahead and paint the engine bay and install Vintage Air while I am at it
This is my first mid year so I welcome any thoughts or guidance on things to be on the look out for in a 63.
Now the fun begins.

The two bar knockoffs caught my eye. What's the story there?

Congratulation!
I have two C-1’s but I am looking for a mid-year coupe for my collection.
I sold my 65 Jetstar88 conv. and now I have a hole in my garage and money in my pocket, a bad combination.

The wheels are a bit different and I do not know much about them. Basically they are a bolt on steel wheel with a rubber finned cone that is held on with the 2 blade spinners. Pretty sure they are not correct but they do look cool. This is a very early car, 1884 built in 62.
I have not had them off but since I have a sticky brake I am going to pull the wheels later tonight and replace the wheel cylinders.

Well, that's something I haven't seen before. Look pretty much like real knockoffs at 10 ft or more I guess.
