I believe a 519 block is a correct 58 block.
The front pad stamping should start with a F then a series of 3 or 4 numbers then a 1 or 2 letter engine code.
The 13122 pad stamping seems strange and I can't decode it.
Does the block have the square plug above the water pump?

It dose
but I hooked the oil preasher gage up on the back of the motor by the distributer
The plug your refuring to is plug plugging the oil passage at the base of the oil fill tube I suspect?
Another No. on the block is buy the casting NO. Its 13 and situated next to the GM stamp its large as the casting NO. but at a right angle to them on the same flange
My Dad always told me this motor was a 1955, were pad stamps numbered differantly for marine? Is this motor only ever gunna be good enoff for a Rat Rod?

I looked at the pics of your pad. That's probably an ID stamp by whatever rebuilder last overhauled the engine.
Why do you call this a a dual quad 2x4 engine. You're asking $4k?

There may be some vidality to the rebuild comment, was it common practice to add numerals to ID pad's? Because the numeral 3 looks hand stamped, however the other numerals are factory as far as I can tell, 3 could represent .003 over, I'm calling it a 2x4 because the heads that were on the motor were 2x4 cast's, on ebay is a pair of heads that are 1x4 cast's, (1957 corvette sale *** user- cranecorvettes) however there misrepresented as being 2x4's, the differance can be seen on the front of the heads theres a rectangle, on 2x4 heads there are two rectangle's, when I discoverd what I had I swapped them out with the heads that are on it now because I didnt want to wear them out, guess what I found on ebay another post by(cranecorvette-1961 corvette 283 270hp 2x4) with the triangle cast marked heads Im useing now, there referred to as power packed heads, maybe they qualify as 2x4 motors I dont know, Because it was some 20 years ago when I looked up head casting marks for my motor, I dont believe cranecorvette ebay post's to be true, however I did consider his pricing and others with my casting No. when I desided my price, Its just by chance that Im selling my motor at the same time, back to if the motor has been rebiult, when I pulled the motor there was 800hr on the tack, when I changed the heads there was half haching still visable on the cilinder walls, but there should not of been a ridge at the top of the cilinders, a ridge that was milled, the amount of use Ive put on the motor amounts to 20-40,000 miles (on the high end), but I have to add it sat idle for 14yrs and Im sure theres some pitting thats happend because of the oil burning, check out the plugs, how do you determine 2x4 all I have is the history of the heads that came off the motor,,that Im sad to report came up missing from storage over the 14yr period
