Default Help ID this Borg Warner trans

I have a Borg Warner T10 and need help decoding it. I did some searches but got confused about the yoke. Did '62 have a bolted yoke or could this be an early '63? Did anything else use a bolted yoke?

It has a 10 spline input shaft with 1 groove and the driveshaft yoke is bolted in.

Main Case is cast iron:
T10-1B
W.G. Div
Q2
6.20.62

Tail is aluminum
T10-7B
WG Div
5.19.62

Side Cover
6.19.62A

Build Date
WG2623

With an iron main case and 1962 dates, it's originally from a 1962 full-size passenger car or a passenger car Service replacement. Only '63-up Corvettes used the bolted yoke.

John,
I beg to differ. There were no iron case T-10s installed in 1962 Chevy passenger cars. With a '62 date and an iron case, it was from a Studebaker, Buick, Olds or Rambler. ALL 1962 Chevy passenger car 4-speeds had a T10-1C case.

They're easier to get in and out of than a Vette. Maybe you should try one since you're getting up in years, you know. (whoops, so am I)
