First cruise night of 2013, some snaps
Well, we got through another winter, first cruise night of 2013!
Low seventies and not a cloud in the sky, dusted off the old crocks and got'em out, and their cars too
Not bad, about 200 cars and a bunch of Vettes, a good start.
A few quick snaps.
Bet you never saw one of these before.

Oh wow. I had one just exactly like that in the early 70s.
mine was green with white stripes…….. and it was a hardtop……….. the one I had was a Duster.
yup. show season is back for sure.
Love that black Challenger there also. I always wanted one of those in Plumb Crazy.
Thanks for sharing the pics! nice turnout.

Mr Peabody...
Not to tug your chain but...
if that is the case, I had one EXACTLY like it too...
except it was white with fake wood laminate sides,
and it was a 68,
... station wagon...

The guy wasn't around to ask him about how or why he built it, I assume he started with a '67~'69 vert shell and then added the '70 front clip, quarters, dash and interior.
After all that work though I think I would have gone with maybe a more exciting color to better show it off.
Never understood why Chrysler never built these it looked so right...
