Default Italy Corvette Meet

Last weekend the Italian Corvette and Camaro club reunited about 90 Vettes and 40 Camaros - it was a fantastic event - in the scenic Lake of Garda area and the new Ferrari track in Modena. There were only 3 or 4 C2s, one all they way from Finland! I need to download the pictures - in the meantime these were e-mailed to me from a fellow member - my son and I leaving the pits

Cheers!

We were concerned about the weather - only a few showers but our track time was dry.

Great shots! Quick question years ago plates in Italy used to begin with two letters to indicate the city they were registered in. Example BO=Bologna MI=Milano etc? Are the plates in the pics a standard EU-wide format now?

City abbreviations were phased out over ten years ago - you can ad a sticker - optional - but most people don't.

Default LED tail lights in Italy.

Hey Alex, great job and thanks for the posting.

Interesting, I recently sold Alex the 6 LED tail lights which are in his red 65 roadster.

Sure is a small world.
But full of Corvette friends.

Alex,
Very cool video, thanks for the link.
Your car looked and sounded great.
I see that a Ford Mustang and a Chrysler also made it onto the track.
Where there any speed limits?
