1coolC2 Under new ownership
For those that have not heard, I have recently sold my 67 Corvette. It's a bitter sweet moment to see it go. It has been an incredible car that has afforded me many great opportunities and has introduced me to some really great people. It certainly will be a tough car for me to match with my new 65 coupe project, but I do have a few more tricks up my sleeve. I am also in the process of building a 1970 Nova Pro-Tour car that I will be running the circuit with soon.
Thanks again for all of the support and positive comments as I built and campaigned the car through events like LS Fest and Optima...it sure was great fun having a C2 out there running in the bunch! The new owner will not be racing the car, but instead enjoying it cruising around on the street. This makes me very happy as I don't really ever want to meet it lined up in the other lane on the drag strip. Here are a few shots to remember it by.

Congrats on the sale Jeff! I know you got top dollar for it.
I know that you are just like me, and find the real pleasure in the build.
I start to lose interest in a car shortly after it is completed, and am looking forward to the next build.
Regards, John McGraw

Having been in on the build and privileged to pilot it I can assure the new owner is going to have a Sunkist smile for a long time. Looking forward to assist on any way I can on the new build.

Glad to hear you sold the car, if that is what you wanted. A total shame to have such a great car go away. The NJO really wanted to run you down the 1320 heads up. But the recession and major, major medical issues have caused issues. But we are getting back on line.
Now all we can race is your best ET. What was that? 12.45? Or we can do reaction times. OOPPs do not want to go there.
Just ball busting, Let us known when the next beast you build is ready to race. Jim

One of the nicest builds I've ever seen.
Ready to see that in Coupe form.

Jeff,
that is mixed news, loved seeing that car in action. It was b-e-a-utiful and a impressive performer.
Good luck with the next one

Thanks Gents, the car indeed went to a real car guy, I have not met him in person but he really came across as a true car lover.
Jim,
You need to get one of those old moldy C1's to run 10.7's on street tires before you can brag to me. Don't care if you can snake me out of the hole MY CAR IS FASTER
Donny, Brian, Jim...thanks. Compliments from guys like you mean a lot....I know you're not trophy givers
Rich, you're always welcome in my garage...just bring weather pack assortment and get to work Beer is in the fridge.
John, looking forward to catching up with you and getting my car as far along as yours. You will be keeping me motivated to get the coupe on the road.
Tom and Hitch.....bring work clothes and be ready to pitch in

I'm glad there are folks like you out there building these cars and putting them out across America. That has to be one of the coolest cars on this forum. Good luck (although I know you won't need it ) on your next build.

Congrats Jeff- can't wait to see the new rides come together! I've got a softspot for the Nova's... I built a 71 nova as my first car when I was 13. Is there a build thread somewhere?

Do not be so sure confident. Some of these antique, old moldy cars are running low mid 10s. Reaction time shows skill. Please build another one we can race.
Great luck on the next build. We should all get together, even without racing to BS. Jim
