Default 63 glove box

Does anyone have a picture of a glove box lid for 63 that they can post? Thanks

EXACTLTY. Kept seeing references to the 63 only glove box and wasn't sure mine was correct-looks just like your picture. Thanks for the help.

That's the "late" version of the '63 door, with the round bezel surrounding the lock; the earlier version had a keyhole-shaped lock bezel recessed in the door (ignore the two screws in the door in the photo below).

John Z thanks. As I keep hearing examples of changes made during model year 63. I hadn't noticed the lock bezel. Your info is even better news; mine is a late Oct 62 build so an "early 63" and it does indeed have the key hole shaped bezel. I keep identifying a mixture of 63 parts as well some 64 and 65 parts on my Vette --Probably not too different from most "restored" C-2's.

I believe you can have the early style built for you by the manufacturer (I think it may be Trim Parts). I think they may charge a little extra. I have a Dec. 62 car with the early keyhole style.

Dougs63, thanks for the info. Reading my earlier response to John Z it was not too clear. The glove box I have is apparently correct for my Halloween 62 early '63 as it has the key hole bezel. Perhaps someone else is trying to find one.
