Default Dash pad source

Who is considered the best source these days for C2 dash pads with good fit and finish?

I've always used Al Knoch and never regretted it.

The Corvette America pads I just installed on my 67 fit perfect, I'm very pleased with them.

I get all my interiors from Corvette America. By far, the best available.

Looks great Mr. D. I see you didn't paint your dash tabs. Several of us here just never got around to it. Scott Marzahl, bbxlr8, myself and now you. This could be the beginnings of a uprising.

Rivited to door jambs, they hold the dash at each end.

Not to hijack this post, but a quick question. I want to change the riders side dash pad over the glove box. Is this a major job? Any procedure you can offer I'd appreciate. Sorry to original poster....

I'd say it would be hard to do with the dash still in the car but maybe one could do it if they were a contortionist. I did mine with the dash out. Very basically you remove the bolts across the top, drill out the rivets on each end in the door jam, break loose the bonding below the radio opening, and pull it out. But you have the glove box and instrument cluster to deal with first. The clips that are used to install the dash pads across the back and down the side by the radio can be a bear to get out. Then you need to install new clips which go in pretty easy.

The problem you may have is that the grain pattern may be different on the new pad from the older pad on driver's side.

Checkout supporting vendor Willcox if you decide on Corvette America pads. They sell CA products. They are GREAT to work with

Almost every vendor sells C/A stuff because it's the best available. I've tried to order from Wilcox but their shipping charges make me order elsewhere. The exact same order from Zip saved me $75 in shipping even with their shipping discount special.
