Anyone have Gates Fan Belt PN for 427
I'm not having much luck locating Gates Fan Belt part numbers for a 1966 427 w/ PS, the Gates website is no help as they list stuff like FAN & PS; W/O AC which is not a correct combination.
What I need is good Gates or NAPA part numbers for the below setup;
427 w/ PS
1st Belt - WP to Crank
2nd Belt - WP to Crank to PS
3rd Belt - ALT to PS
Thanks

No Gates # but the following table has the GM P/Ns that you can cross.

Well I did some cross referencing and came up with the following;
1st Belt - WP to Crank
Quanta shows 66-67 GM # 3837810 or Gates 7350 @ 34.99"
GM manual shows GM # 9433722 or Gates 7350 @ 34.99"
2nd Belt - WP to Crank to PS
Quanta shows 66-67 GM # 3878244 or Gates 7450 @ 45"
GM manual shows GM # 9433632 or Gates 7410 @ 40.99"
GM manual shows 1969 GM # 9433738 or Gates 7425 @ 42.51"
3rd Belt - ALT to PS
Quanta shows 66-67 GM # 3878243 or Gates 7315 @ 31.5"
GM manual shows GM # 9433716 or Gates 7320 @ 32"
The 1st belt is a match, 3rd belt is a differance of 1/2 inch which is no problem but the 2nd belt is all over the place but I do have 3 to pick from.
I’m probably over analyzing this but I tend to do that a lot.

You're not over analyzing it. I've had a lot of problems with "generic" belts causing accessories to either not spin right or to hit valve covers or other things. The original GM correct length makes a big difference in installation and correct adjustability.
