Or what do you think?

Think you are right Roy on the aging. Was at the Roadster show and two years ago there was a black and burnt orange paint layout on many many cars and only saw one this time.
Front suspension looks very interesting and has an Indy car look with the inboard shocks.
As far as hurting my eyes, saving bird cages or spiting up is a little too much drama for me. Six decades of Corvette ownership lets me handle what various car people do with their time/$$$$ as their choice.
If people did not change and personalize those first Corvettes, stick their foot through the fire wall and not think of their Vettes as VIRGINS the last Corvette made might have been a 56 or 57. Mel

I think the woman standing there with her hands on her hips pretty much says it all!

The trailer could use a nice paint job!! I guess to each his own--though I would never do it. Back in the day for me it was a set of Keystones or Cragers with Firestone white letters and maybe jacking up the rear a little.

Mel...I guess we share the same philosophy By the looks of the quality of the built it was a former 'show car' back in the day. Today...well...shows like Micheal Jackson after all the surgery. As far investing any money in her...seems like to most practical option might be to add some Tru Spokes 15 x 10 rims and N50-15 Mickey Thompson in the rear...and 15 x 8 rims up front with some 50 series M/Ts. Put in a 350 with a blower and call it a day..
No doubt ... after those mods...she'd get A LOT of attention at the Local Car Shows...

The car is just plain ugly, but I'd love to put that whole chassis/suspension setup, under a mid-year resto-mod!

if the gullwing doors are trouble free then i would much rather have them than the OEMs or the Lambo doors popular now.
and, the body panels could returned to a stock look and the interior at least made more like the original.
it has potential
