Steel valve covers to aluminum V.C. fittment issue
I have a '66 327/300 - it is an fact. A/C roadster.
During my (stock) engine rebuild we added a new set of the factory scripted aluminum valve covers - but upon installation, it appears that the alternator will not fit due to the (what looks like) increased height of the aluminum V.C. vs. the steel ones.
Has anyone run into this; and if so - what was your remedy.
Many thanks,
kurt

Well - it seems my issue is (was) is that I am not the mechanic I used to be. I had the alt bracket switched around (insert doofus-of-the-day award ribbon here).
Thanks for the prompt replies, guys.
