Default 1.6 Roller rockers on a 65 327 365

Help! can someone give me some guidance on what to do if i want to put roller rockers on my 65 327 with 365HP?? I have not opened up the valve covers and curious if someone knows more about this topic..
1. Will there be a clearance issue?
2. Is there a calc. for establishing lift
3. Are stock push rods ok?
4. Do I have 3/8 or 7/16 rocker studs?
5. I assume using 1.5 is ok
thks

I put a set of full roller rockers on my 327 which is going in my 57 Gasser.
Go to Ebay and buy a set of valve cover risers to ( 1 inch) and you will have no clearance problems.

But I am not sure the 1.6 rockers are the way to go, I used 1.5 rockers.
You might have some clearance or geometry problems with the 1.6 ones.

1. Yes - you won't be able to use poly-locks with your valve covers.

2. Gross lift is cam lobe lift x rocker arm ratio.

3. Depends on the design of the rocker arm.

4. you have 3/8" pressed-in studs.

5. 1.5 is stock, that works fine. Don't even THINK about using 1.6:1 rockers - they require machine work on the heads for pushrod clearance, and if you had NASA-level instrumentation, you MIGHT be able to tell any difference; complete waste of time, effort, and money.

The roller or roller-tip rockers aren't going to gain you much either, other than cruise night bragging rights; the stock "o" rockers are bulletproof, with long-proven reliability.
