trans date versus car build date
I'm looking to install a correctly dated BW T-10 in my 59, with a car build date of March 26 1959. Would a Trans with an assy date of C169-2 (March 16th 1959) be too close? What would be considered a "normal" date range for the trans/car build dates?

That date is fine - 1-4 weeks is "typical", but you'll get full credit up to 6 months. Note that transmision and axle "numbers" aren't judged in NCRS Flight Judging - they're only checked in Star/Bowtie judging, which is a whole different world.

trans date
I discovered my 59 came with a T10-148B side cover and T10-1B main case. (the 1-B is a July 59 through mid November 60...I.m told) I think my car should have a T10-1 iron case since the car was built in December of 58. Probably not original although I was told it was. 59 navy
