Default New 1966 Sting Ray 427 Owner

I just purchased my Uncle's 1966 Corvette Sting Ray 427 Big Block. It's Nassau Blue with blue interior. He has owned it since 1972 when he traded it for his 58 Chev and $1200.

I'm looking forward to learning more about my C2 from this very resourceful group. How, Where do I register my 66 as I would like to learn more details about the car?

Thank you.
Joe.

Hi Joe, welcome to the Corvette Forum and congrats on picking up the Bigblock 66. Corvettes didn't come with the 'tank sticker' till the '67 model year so unless your uncle passed along some original paperwork to you, the way to find out more about it is to take a lot of pics, especially close-ups, and post them here and the Forum Members will help decipher what you have.

Sounds like an awesome car with cool family history! That's great!

I'm sure you're going to love the car...I bought one earlier this year, and still can't hardly believe it's mine!!

Beautiful car!

I'm rather fond of 66 big blocks myself
