57 hardtop front top trim removal
Hello All,
Have a 57 hardtop I'm in the process of restoring. Is it possible to remove the front top chrome (?) strip so I can have it re-chromed ? I cannot find any screws/bolts that attach this strip to the fiberglass. May be glued to the fiberglass and that would really be a problem in restoring this trim piece. Thanks for any help/ suggestions !

Place the hardtop upside down on a table or a stand.
Using a thin dull knife insert the knife under the trin at the center and work the knife toward the outer edge being sure not to let the knife dig into the trim. Just work slowly and the trim will eventually pop off.
To install position the trim EXACTLY where you want it, hook the back and then using a soft hammer or your fist start hitting the front of the reim to hook it back on the top.
