or an alligator named Elvis lol like in the Miami vice episode whatever works

no black car, no rides with the top down lol

ah well with the top, its a rare enough item that its bound to show up somewhere, glad I could be of service though

I never thought about leaving the cellphone in the trunk, I would have thought that the signals wouldnt have been strong enough to get through the fiberglass.

With the fiberglass alone it should be able to get GPS lock, but if the car was stashed in a garage also, that might be tough. App locates via cell tower and nearby wifi networks first, which don't need to pick up GPS satellites. Either way, it's going to get you and/or the police within a very close radius of your missing car, which is better than nothing.

I know someone who let his dog out when thieves were in his van stealing tools. The dog went after the people but stopped when the owner decided to yell at the thieves. His yelling stopped the dog and not the crooks.

But in this case it would not help unless you are cruising around with your dog. You never know...

A screen shot of the "Life360" app. This is my father-in-law at work, who certainly hasn't touched the app all day. Does a good job of passively staying current and accurate. As it would in the trunk of a car...

You can also check full history of every where the person went:

Ok, enough Life360 advertising, I have nothing to do with the app, just passing along a great free service I discovered.

Oh yeah, I think you and I chatted about the Palos-area cruise night / car show before.

Father-in-law (Mark) works in Orland. We're SE of there in Beecher. Hate it, can't wait to get out of IL. Some day.

Yes! Absolutely amazing!

Insurance (American Modern), came by today and documented over 100 pictures.

Boy, we really found out how much they trashed the car! Still though, everything is repairable!

Also, American Modern has been nothing short of "stellar" to work with!

Default Curious!

Did they get any prints? Maybe next we can get them with the help of the internet to come forward and confess!

Also a typical TCracingCA Derek observation for my fellow forum members that have gotten to know me!
So who should we get to play you in the movie? Your saga of going from the lowest low to the high of being reunited is better than what I am watching on TV right now! Also who should be get to play your wifes role! We get the car fixed up for the opening scenes and get a stunt double car for the action scenes!

I'm thinking chest & arms are pretty close- and yours are natural. I'm sticking with my pick!
