Grand Sport or C2 Restomods............
Hello:
We had some talk about running the quick Ratio steering rack off the C4 instead of the regular rack. It was offer I believe between 86-87 and I think designated with a "WT" on the side or something like that.
There was a kick *** video with someone who had a resto-mod convertable tearing up the country side, it was great to watch. He was the one menting that was what he was running.
For those of you who switched to them, how do you like them?
Are they too twitchy?
I will be running street/autocross/ and open track days as well as special events, "Texas Mile", HotRod Power tour etc. I have one bought and have a regular one, so I need to make up my mind and get one in.
I heard that the quick rack was more fun so I am very temped to run it.
Suggestions one way or the other?
Also, Is it difficult to change between them to tayler the car to whatever you want to run? Is it just the Rack and Pinion Unit or does everythinghave to come out?
Thanks,
Ty
