Hey Gang, just a to people who have made posting items here a bit of a personal challange and a goal! We dont have a ton of success stories reported, but this is a worthwhile cause. Thanks again!
One more thing, if you are listing links to a Craigslist ad, beware that those ads vanish forever when the ad expires in a week or 2. Also, some ebay ads also expire and are hard to find.
So, if you can copy and paste contact info that might vanish forever when you post, that would be great. Thanks again.
Also one more thing... the topic of how many are listed came up today, so I took a peek and loosely counted 94 engine VINs posted here in less than 2 years. That's awesome stuff.

Making a report on my own car...
I bought a complete engine and T-10 4 speed wide ratioo transmission for my '63. Used the engine block but eventually did not need the transmission.
Stampings/castings : WL-52-3, VIN 04160, 10-19-62A, 9-7-62 on tail, T10-7D, 3813490, R-2
Came out of car 04160, a saddle 250 hp coupe. The entire drive train and rolling chassis was sold due to a restomod conversion, so I doubt the car's owner is interested, but I thought I'd post the info anyway.

396 - VIN: 194375S117950 or 194675S117950 I have your block
It is a D24-5 casting. T0510IF. #5117950
Original bore, one cylinder has a sleeve. Bare Block. No Heads.
It looks quite original, but wouldn't a sleeve require decking?
Been sitting in my pops garage for about 20 years

FS - 67 427/435HP Engine VIN 194677S115576
Well, after years of chasing the car that this engine belongs to, I am throwing in the towel and selling the engine. I had the car bought from the original owner about 10 years ago, until it got sold out from under me to a dealer. You can guess the rest of that story. Since that time, it has been run through Barrett Jackson a couple of times, and now it may reside in New Jersey according to the c2 Registry. According to the original owner, this engine was removed in the 1969-1970 time frame and replaced with a LS6 or LS7 over the counter.
I have the following : 3904351 block, date B-23-7, stamp T0320JE 7115576 still standard bore 4-bolt main
Heads : 3904391 casting, dates K-21-6 and I-20-6 with stock ports
Intake: 3894374 casting with 1968 dated carbs
dimple Rods & Pistons
No crankshaft, no cam, lifters, etc. No sheet metal.
I am asking $12k for everything listed above. If it doesn't sell as a package, I may split it up to those that need the components.
I also have some other square port heads 208, 858, 391, 840 that I will be selling soon as well.
PM me if interested.

Well, just got off the phone with current owner, and the block will be reunited with the car at some point in the future!!
While I would have liked to purchase the car, it wasn't for sale, and I already have one just like it in the same color combo, so i don't need 2 of them.
