Default Help identify this C2 air cleaner

Air cleaner appears to be for a 1965 or 1966 high performance 350 or 365 HP engine.
It has the large crankcase vent tube to the valve cover (or other crankcase vent location) but I am not sure what the small tube connector is for.
Could it also be for a big block application?

64-65 365hp and 65 350hp.

Small fitting is for the choke air intake hose.

63 340hp is similar but lacks the choke hose fitting (connects directly to AFB).

Someone probably used a paper element filter with the rubber ring and it is sticking together. Just give a tug on the lid.

Correct and to answer the rest of it ALL midyear BBs used an open element air cleaner.

Just drop it on the garage cement floor a coupe times, that should work it loose.

The black silk screened lettering is shown as correct for late 64 and all 65 350 and 365 hp 327s.

The repos are spendy and this one looks in nice shape.

Well a lot of wd40 did allow the top to loosen up and it pulled apart. Was loaded with a foam filter and all of it may have been original to the car.

Thank you everyone! Polished, cleaned up and going to go back on this weekend. Got to get it running again and try out the new Hurst shifter.
