Default Eureka Springs Corvette Weekend 2013 Pix

Hello All,

Just got back from Eureka Springs Corvette Weekend Car Show. It was a decent showing of all years. However, it was really rainy so not many C1s and C2s, but what did show were nice. I wanted to enter my 66, but being so wet decided against it. We did enter our 2013 427 and got 4th place which we were pleasantly surprised with. Anyway, here are a few pics of what was there. Also, had three C7s. They were nice and the interiors area a definite upgrade from the C6, however, they didn't make me want to run out and buy one. Maybe, when the Z07 (or whatever it is called) comes out, just maybe.

John

Thanks for posting, sorry you got the rain, looks like a decent turnout anyway though.

Thanks for posting. I've missed the last two years now but the weather forecast wasn't looking good so I skipped again.

Been there, done that a few years ago. The arogant, premadonna attitude of late model owners towards owners of early models will keep me from returning.

Just got home this morning. Great pictures considering the weather. I think you have a picture of my mid torso in the second picture. I spent most of my time watching rain and c1/c2's. Also trying to judge how much rain was collecting in C2 carpeting. I may be installing a bilge pump in the 64 coupe. Thanks again for the pictures.

I felt sorry for the C1 whose windows didn't roll up when it was a huge downpour. We were standing in your area with the C1/C2s for a while during the heavy rain. I was glad it wasn't like last year with sleet, although it would have been a lot less wet...

Luckily, I didn't get that feeling this year, although we did have our 2013 in the show and not our 66 (maybe we were just one of the arogant late model owners ). The only thing I didn't care for was the largest club there seemed to win a lot, but that is what it was about...participants vote. I did have a good time and I think the total cars in the show was about 350+, not bad considering all the rain. They said last year was about 400 or so.

We have been going for 13 years and I have never had a problem with any corvette owner. Everyone seems to be very happy to be there and lots of waves from old and new owners. Very fun show!
